Drugs Found on Justin Bieber’s Tour Bus in Detroit at Canadian Border

Are you a fan of Justin Bieber?

Should celebrities be held to a stricter standard?

Whenever someone famous steps a toe out of line, we all hear about it, don’t we? Many people often feel that when you are in the limelight, you are held to a stricter standard. Today, we’re sharing a story about just that.

On Sunday, Justin Bieber’s tour bus was stopped at border patrol. While doing a routine check a police dog sniffed out the drugs. Soon the police found a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on the bus.

Here is what the Detroit Free Press reported,

Before teen heartthrob Justin Bieber performed Sunday night at Joe Louis Arena, border authorities searched one of his tour buses — and discovered marijuana. The singer was not on the bus at the time, according to Kenneth Hammond, chief officer and public affairs liaison for U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Detroit.”

This Wasn’t the First Time

Interestingly enough, this is not the first time a tour bus has been found with drugs on it at the Ambassador Bridge. This past March, Rihanna’s tour bus was found with marijuana. Just like Bieber, Rihanna was not on the bus at the time. It would seem that the police at the Ambassador Bridge are doing their jobs well.

This is Bieber’s second time having someone on his tour caught with drugs. In Sweden a few months before, cops there found a small amount of narcotics on one of the tour buses.

So, what do you think?

Should celebrities like Justin Bieber and Rihanna be held to a higher standard? Do you think that are role models for the children growing up today? Are you pleased to know that the Ambassador Bridge is catching any drugs that try to come into Detroit? Please share your thoughts in the comments below.
